Your school class or youth group is invited to schedule a field trip at the picturesque 8-acre Pumpkin Farm in the Wilton/Elk Grove area. Call (916) 687-4547 to reserve your field trip. As always, tour size is limited to further enhance the students' learning experience. The guided tour is a 1½ hour hands-on educational outing and includes the following activities:
- Visit and learn about many different types of farm animals (over 100 total animals)
- Visit the many baby animals in the petting zoo
- Enjoy an old fashioned hayride along the Cosumnes River
- Groom live lambs
- Select their own 4-6 pound pumpkin
- Snack bar available
- Unlimited play on the Towering Haystack, Adventure Course, Straw Jumper and more!
- 1 Complimentary 5x7 framed class photo
- 1 Complimentary class pumpkin (20-30lbs.)
- Learn with the Alpacas
- Large shaded picnic area with tables & chairs

The per student fee which includes all the above activities and a 4-6 pound pumpkin is $6.00. The fee for adults who accompany classes or youth groups is $4.00 per person (4-6 pound pumpkin included). The classroom teacher or group leader receives free admission and each class or group will receive one FREE 20-30 pound pumpkin and group photo. Fees are payable in lump sum for all participants (including parents) by teacher or group leader upon arrival and registration at the farm. Although the tour is 1½ hours long you are welcome to stay and enjoy the farm and its many activities as long as you would like. Most classes bring their sack lunches and stay for several hours.
